The Fourth of July is Coming – What Will you Do with your Miami Boat Rental?

Posted by

Everyone knows that July 4th is an amazing holiday for a few reasons. First of all, it’s the day America celebrates independence day, which is important in and of itself. Secondly, it’s a great day to grill out and watch fireworks. Most of America will be doing this from the comfort of their own backyard or in public parks, enjoying the amazing light display in the sky as they have fun with their friends and family members, which is great, but if you’re in the Miami area you can definitely take it up a notch with a Miami boat rental.

If you take a look at the city website for Miami you’re going to find that there are a ton of events that you can attend around the area whether they’re parades, celebrations, or even public park events. There are indeed a lot of things that you can do in the area, but what if none of them particularly appeal to you? The good news is you don’t have to be land-bound to enjoy the Fourth of July celebration, so why not jump over to the water with a boat rental?

See it All from the Water

Miami Boat RentalEverything is going to be visible from the water this Fourth of July, at least as far as the fireworks are concerned, and let’s face it, there are far fewer restrictions on your activities when you’re enjoying the show from afar. So now, you only have to ask, what do you want to do during the holiday?

When it comes to boat rental options, particularly from a provider like Boat.me you have your choice of options, and we’re going to list off a few of the most popular for your Fourth of July celebration.

Rent a Party BoatA party boat rental Miami is probably the best route that you can take. After all, if you’re going to celebrate Independence Day for our country, why not celebrate some independence of your own by breaking free from the land and enjoying the amenities a yacht or party boat has to offer. You could choose a boat that you pilot yourself, or if you want, you can choose one that already has a captain simply to enhance your overall enjoyment of the event. In addition to that you could enjoy an open bar onboard, lots of deck space, and room for all the friends you want to bring with you. Party boats can be absolutely amazing and are definitely not something that you want to miss out on. Something fun to note, these boats are typically millions of dollars for outright purchase and renting them for the weekend can provide you with a once in a lifetime experience – it’s definitely something to think about!

Rent a Fishing BoatThe Independence Day festivities start early, but if you don’t particularly want to be on the land then why not enjoy some time out on the water beforehand? You could spend your time fishing, or simply relaxing amongst the waves. Go alone, bring a friend, but don’t forget that a fishing boat rental Miami is always an option at Boat.me.

Rent a Speed BoatNo one can blame you for wanting to keep things a bit smaller when it comes to your boat rental, and a speed boat is an excellent way to get around on the water without spending a lot of money. You can cruise around the bay or spend some time exploring the open water before the fireworks are slated to start. A speed boat is an amazing sense of freedom, especially if you’re usually land locked like the rest of us. Take a look at the various options on Boat.me today.

Rent Something SmallerThere’s no need to rent or buy the biggest boat or even something motorized if you don’t want to. There are plenty of smaller options including canoes, kayaks, and other manually operated boats that will give you the experience of being on the water without the expense or even the cost of gas. From glass bottomed kayaks to fishing dinghies, we’ve got you covered.

The way you celebrate Independence Day is always going to be your own business, but we strongly recommend trying it on the water. For some it might be a once in a lifetime opportunity and a story you can tell forever. It’s time to set sail and declare your independence.

The Best Underwater Attractions to Explore in Miami

rent a boat in Miami

If you’re looking for a great experience during your Florida vacation then a Miami boat rental should probably be at the top of your priority list, but have you ever considered taking a dive? Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing quite like sailing on the open sea and enjoying the wind in your face but if you take a look under the water you’re going to discover a whole new world. While there are plenty of things to see we’re going to be focusing on underwater wrecks. We would simply say shipwrecks, but there is actually a lot more to see when you rent a boat in Miami.

Exploring Shipwrecks with Boat Rentals in Miami

Let’s take a quick look at some of the most popular shipwrecks around Miami. Remember that some of these wrecks are a bit more advanced than others, and we’ll note if you need to practice caution.

The Almirante

This is a bigger ship, roughly 200 feet long and on the ocean floor since April of 1979. As it was sunk by the Dade Sports Commission (intentionally) the wreck as initially in great shape but over time damage was sustained, particularly due to Hurricane Andrew. The ship now sits upside down on the bottom and is still a great place to dive. There is plenty of sea life and you’ll find it to be a great experience.

While this is a great place to explore we would note that it is beneath 135 feet of water, making it suitable for only the more advanced divers. If you’re looking for a challenge, then the Almirante might be your cup of tea.

Jose Cuervo

Just ten feet below the water and 150 yards southeast of the Second Street Lifeguard station you will find a 22 ton concrete margarita bar, sunk during the event known as ‘Sinko De Mayo’. It was designed with a dive flag roof and six bar stools for added effect. Because this is only ten feet below the surface it is considered to be a novice dive and a great starting point if you’re interested in learning.

Army Tank Site

boat rentals in MiamiNot all wrecks are shipwrecks. The site known as the ‘Wreck Trek’, very close to the Mathew Lawrence Wreck is now a monument to two Vietnam era combat tanks that now sit preserved under fifty feet of water. Several species of fish, lobsters, and even barracudas inhabit the now stationary tanks, and at some point in the future there are plans to deposit even more tanks at the spot. This is an outstanding way to explore both marine life and a few relics from the past.

The water here is not very deep and as such it is perfect for beginners who are looking into boat rentals in Miami.

Brandy wine

We find this to be an interesting one as it was seized by US customs and sunk in 2001, though not in an area that one would typically decide to dive in. It sits in one hundred and forty five feet of water and is therefore considered to be a more advanced dive.

Biscayne

In the Biscayne Artificial Reef Site you will find the Biscayne, a 120-foot freighter that traveled from Central America to Florida carrying a huge supply of bananas. As far as wrecks go it’s not in the greatest condition as both the bow and stern sections have collapsed, however there is some amazing aquatic life to see and if you’re looking for a night dive, this is the way to go.

This is obviously considered to be a beginner’s diving location simply because it only sits in 55 feet of water, allowing for a quick escape should you need it.

When you rent a boat in Miami you have lots of places to see and visit. The world beneath the waves is not only exciting, it’s a must see. Rent a craft from Boat.me and set sail for deeper waters.

Three Islands off the Coast of Miami you Should Consider Visiting

Posted by

Boat rentals in Miami are a great way to experience the area in a way that many others won’t. You see, when most people visit Florida they stick to the mainland and while there are a lot of attractions to see in Miami itself, there are just as many to see on the water. Maybe you want to go fishing, maybe you want to relax and enjoy the waves, or maybe you want to try some extreme sports on the water.

No matter what your purpose happens to be, you can be rest assured that a boat rental will give you the fun and excitement you need to make you trip memorable. While there are a ton of things for you to do on the water, we’re going to cover three of the most popular islands you can visit off the coast of Miami. Some are more exclusive than others, but they are all equally fun to discover. Let’s take a look!

Rent a Boat in Miami

Fisher Island – a Great Destination When You Rent a Boat in Miami

We’re going to go ahead and admit right off the bat that this place is a bit exclusive, having the highest per capita income of any location in the United States. Believe it or not, Fisher island plays host to just 226 households and 132 people. Though this is mainly a residential island there are still a few places you might want to visit, perhaps even the Fisher Island Club which features a number of outstanding recreational activities.

These include golf, tennis, a spa, fitness center, a marina to dock your boat, and of course various dining experiences that you’ll be talking about for many years to come. The most interesting thing about Fisher Island is the fact that unlike most other island off the coast, it cannot be reached by car. Instead, you will need to rent a boat in Miami and make your way to the port. It’s right off the coast of Miami and extremely easy to access. In addition to that, there are lots of other attractions on the coast that you might want to try later on, after you’ve finished your island hopping.

Virginia Key

Though this one is accessible from the Rickenbacker causeway, there’s no reason not to go by boat. If you’re looking for something a bit scaled down from the Fisher Island experience, this is probably the place to be. The island is occupied mostly by the Virginia Key Beach Park, but you can also find the famous Miami Seaquarium, the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and a number of other spots worth visiting. If you’re feeling nostalgic, don’t forget to visit the former Miami Marine Stadium while you’re on the island – it’s an absolute blast.

Bay Harbor Islands

Rent a Boat in MiamiFinally we have the Bay Harbor Islands which, like Fisher Island features a robust residential community, though still a bit more scaled down. As of the 2010 census there are a total of 5,268 people living on the Bay Harbor Islands though we can only imagine that its grown a bit since then. There are lots of things to do here, especially if you’re looking for some exclusive cuisines. For example you could enjoy some of the delectable samplings from the Asia Bay Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar, or you could take it down a few notches by visiting the Bay Harbor Bistro and Bakery. There are tons of other activities here, though you may have to look a bit harder to find them. Still, it’s not a bad place to visit if you’re up for some sight seeing.

While none of the islands of the Coast of Miami are particularly great for extended stays, they are perfect for a short tour when you rent a boat in Miami. You may not have time to visit all of them, but a quick excursion to just one might be all you need to top off what was already the perfect Florida vacation.

Visit These Three Snorkeling Hotspots when you Rent a Boat in Key West

Posted by

If you’re looking for a great way to spend the majority of your Florida vacation, then Key West boat rentals are without a doubt your key to adventure and excitement. There are lots of things to do in Key West, as you have probably already figured out, but the greatest excitement can be found beneath the waves, rather than in the cities. There’s an entire world of adventure down there just waiting for you to discover it, and it all starts with renting a boat. Before you can go, however, you need to be aware of the different snorkeling locations in and around Key West – don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Finding the Best Snorkeling Locations

There’s a lot of water in Key West, to put it mildly. Even if you take advantage of a boat rental in Key West you will need to know where to go, and it is not always self-explanatory. Generally, the consensus is that anywhere in the Florida Keys is a great place for snorkeling if you have a boat, but if you’re not an experienced boater or snorkeler, then you’re going to need some guidance. That being said, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best locations in Key West to drop anchor and explore the sea bottom.

Before we get into that, however, let’s talk a bit about Key West. First of all, it’s the most popular boating destination in the Keys, and one of the greatest benefits is that it is not nearly as popular as the northern areas. That being the case, it’s a bit quieter, and a bit more enjoyable if you’re looking for solitude and a less busy area to boat in.

Be Your Own Captain!

One of the biggest problems with snorkeling in Key West is actually finding a prime location. You can snorkel anywhere, but on the south side of the island you’ll mostly find areas that are rife with seaweed, and while that might be interesting to a raw beginner, those who came looking for the colorful backdrops normally seen in snorkeling videos are going to be sorely disappointed. The following locations will serve to provide great snorkeling opportunities during your boat rental in Key West

Fort Zachary Taylor State Park

This area is so named for the Civil War era fort that like so many others sits on the coast as a haunting reminder of America’s past. Apart from that, however, the southwest tip of Key West provides a series of man -made breakwater areas that do a great job of providing fish filled areas. It’s a great opportunity to see Florida’s marine life at its finest. One important thing to note about this area is that it tends to play host to high currents, so be very careful if you choose to swim outside the breakwater.

Higgs Beach

You won’t have to pay a dime to get in here, other than the gas expenses to move your boat from one place to the next. Visitors who rent a boat in Key West love to frequent this location for the exploration opportunities. Most of the easy life in this area can be seen below the old dock right off the beach, and you’ll find plenty of other great secrets as well. If you get tired of exploring beneath the surface, you can always retire to the beach and enjoy a day in the sun – it features some of the clearest waters in Florida, and a great experience overall.

The Florida Keys present some of the greatest diving and snorkeling opportunities in the country and when you rent a boat in Key West from Boat.me you will be able to not only take advantage of them, but explore locations you never even imagined. Remember, Boat.me has a wide selection of water craft suitable for exploration, snorkeling, or just hanging out on the water.

Tips for Fishing in Black Point Marina

Posted by

There are lots of great fishing spots in Miami Florida, without a doubt, but perhaps none quite as interesting as black Point Marina. For those who haven’t spent a great amount of time in the Miami area, it’s not really a point of interest, but if you happen to live there, then there is a good chance that you not only know the spot, you absolutely revere it. Let’s talk about why Black Point is a prime tourist location, especially for those who want to get in touch with nature. A fishing boat rental in Miami has never seemed like such a good idea.

Black Point Marina – A Prime Location to take a Miami Boat Rental

Black Point Marina is near Biscayne National Park, and visiting both locations in the same day definitely isn’t outside the realm of possibility. Let’s face it, every state has a spot like this, but it’s even more amazing in a state like Florida. Unlike in every other state, the lake is not landlocked – you can see all the way out to the ocean as it stretches to the horizon, and leaves you to wonder might be on the other side. The bay is flanked by immense forests and amazing wildlife, but beneath the waves, there is a ton of great sea life just waiting for you to catch it. Some of the highlights include:

•  Barracuda – A fairly easy fish to catch, the best artificial bait being a tube lure, or if you want to try something a bit organic, live fish are always recommended – the Barracuda is a hunter, after all.

•  Red Drum – The tastes of this fish tend to vary as they get older. When they are young they prefer small craps and shrimp, though you can actually get away with using marine worms. When they grow older they take much of the same, though in larger varieties. Additionally, they eat the Atlantic Croaker, which is definitely something to consider baiting your hook with.

•  Common Snook – Once again we have a fish that absolutely loves live bait, though lure casters tend to use mirror plugs along with plastic jigs, spoons, and plugs.

•  Tarpon – These fish are often caught using live sardines, but if you don’t feel like being that proactive, you can always use dead. In fact you can get them for cheap right from your grocery store.

•  Spotted Seatrout – Finally, guy can be caught with live shrimp, which is a commonly used tactic at Black Point Marina. Even more common are slip floats that allow you to fish using a float in deeper water (probably not something you normally use if you’re not fishing for bluegill). Trout often suspend in the water at varying depths, making it difficult to get their attention if you don’t have your line suspended at the right depth.

A Word of Caution

When you take your fishing boat rental Miami to Black Point, it is strongly recommended that you remain in the boat and refrain from swimming due to the saltwater alligators that occasionally frequent the area. They are typically not a threat to the two legged species that come here for recreation, but you certainly don’t want to kick one while you’re swimming!

Don’t Forget these Important Items

fishing boat rental in MiamiJust as with any fishing expedition, there are certain items that you’ll want to make sure you’re packing:

•  Sunscreen – Always wear something with an SPF of 30 or higher to ensure you don’t bake too much in the Florida sun. Most importantly, wear waterproof sunscreen!

•  Fish Finder – We mentioned earlier that the trout like to suspend themselves in the water, and without a fish finder you’ll be stuck guessing just how far to drop your line. We’re all for sport, but something has to give.

•  Snacks – You’re going to be on the water for a long time, so make sure you bring something to eat. If possible, bring something quiet that won’t make a lot of noise to scare the fish. You might think you’re safe and sound in your boat, but sound carries through water better than you might think.

•  Coolers – You need a cooler to not only keep your snacks, but also to store your catch of the day, make sure it’s big enough!

A Bite to Eat

While you’re at Black Point, we strongly suggest that at some point you step off of your fishing boat rental Miami to enjoy the Black Point Ocean Grill which sits right on the water and boasts a menu full of fresh seafood, and of course the famous blackened chicken sandwich. Don’t forget to try the calamari.

Your fishing boat rental Miami will take you to some amazing places, but none quite as interesting as Black Point – a hidden treasure in the Miami area.

We’re talking about a yacht rental, of course, and there are many different options when you rent from Boat.me.

Not only is your wedding a once in a lifetime opportunity, your trip onto the water might be as well. Many of the yachts available from Boat.me would cost you millions to purchase, and being able to rent them for a day or two is a feeling like no other.

Imagine it: the sun on your face, the nice, warm breeze combined with the salt air that only the Atlantic Ocean can provide; can you really ask for a better setting? The great thing about yachts is that they can often feature all of the same amenities as a hotel, from a large deck to host the wedding, all the way to private rooms, and even a bar to satisfy all of your extracurricular needs.

A wedding at sea can be a very private experience, even off the coast of Miami. Imagine leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city, the noise of cars, and the knowledge that just outside the doors of the church, life goes on. When you’re floating on the sea with nothing but the sound of the waves, the smell of the salt air, and the company of your closest friends and family, you’re at peace, and nothing can interrupt your big moment. Following the wedding, a reception always in order, and when you’re on a boat, it’s even better. A yacht affords so many different opportunities for those who have just said their vows on the water. An open bar is definitely going to be in order, and a yacht can be stocked full of the best brews and vintages if you arrange it. In addition to that, there is plenty of room to dance, and while you’re on the water, why not take advantage of it? There are plenty of listings available on Boat.me for this occasion, many offering additional services including:

As you can see, there are plenty of great reasons to rent a party boat for a wedding, and Miami is the perfect backdrop for this beautiful, once in a lifetime event. Take a look at the available boat rentals and make sure you’re ready to hit the waves when the time comes to tie the knot.

Three Snorkeling Locations in Miami you Have to Try

Posted by

If you’re going on vacation in Miami anytime soon, you’re probably interested in the numerous snorkeling opportunities. It’s not only a great part of a Miami boat rental, it is a clear chance to explore some of the most incredible underwater locations in the Miami area. You might be surprised at what is hiding just a few feet below the surface whether you’re absorbing the colorful array of marine life, or simply exploring the coral reef that has sat stationary on the ocean floor for thousands of years. Miami has plenty of locations, including the famous Florida Straights Reef which stretches for 220 miles. Let’s take a quick look at three highly popular snorkeling locations in the Miami area. Remember, a world of fun and discovery sits right below the surface.

Snorkeling in Biscayne Park

There are a lot of great places to visit when you take advantage of boat rentals in Miami but we are firm in the belief that Biscayne National Park is a must-see, especially for anyone that hasn’t visited the area before. It sits on the coastline and offers some of the best opportunities for offshore snorkeling, including a visit to the Half Moon and Emerald Reef. This is not a free opportunity, however, as you will need to pay roughly $40 per person, though it is our opinion that it is entirely worth it. You can trust us when we say you’re going to see some amazing things when you pay a visit to Biscayne Park. If you want even more reason to visit, consider that there is a rich history to be explored – would you believe that this was an old pirate stomping ground at one point in history? Well, actually most of the water on Earth was, but this is a spot you can easily explore, and that makes it ten times better!

Pompano Beach Dropoff

There’s a lot to see here, and it’s right next to the Pompano Beach Club Recreation Center. You can easily take a boat here, and you’ll find it’s an amazing spot with lots of flat rocks beneath the surface. You’re going to find plenty of corals, seawhips, sponges, and tons of other wildlife just below the surface. At a varying depth between 6 and 22 feet, you’re going to find that time has created an incredible environment beneath the waves, completely with various caves now inhabited by the resident wildlife. If you’re looking into boat rentals in Miami, then you absolutely cannot forget to visit this location.

Vista Park Reef

Once again, it’s an area awash with coral reef exploration opportunities, but this time there’s a twist: lobsters! The ocean floor here is covered with a ton of rocks and other objects that serve as great hiding spots for lobsters, and you’re going to see a ton of other marine life as well. Some you might see include:

  • * Damselfish
  • * Grunts
  • * Snapper
  • * Spadefish
  • * Black Margate

These are just a few great examples, and there are 100 yards of reef for you to explore. It might not sound like much, but in the underwater kingdom, that’s quite a bit! There’s a lot to see and your Miami boat rental could very well be your key to a wide world of exploration. Don’t forget to check it out!

Snorkeling is definitely one of the more fun events and activities that a boat renter can partake in, so make sure you investigate it as a potential activity for your vacation. As always, make sure you seek training or help if you have never tried it before! It’s pretty simple, but there are plenty of things you need to know, not to mention tips and tricks that will help you to have a much better time. It’s time to rent a boat from Boat.me and explore the ocean floor on your terms!

Florida Speed Boat Rentals for a Day Trip to the Florida Keys

Posted by

Speed boat rentals in Key West are perfect way to explore Key West if you should choose to go visit. If you’re planning a vacation at all though, the big question that you should ask, is what exactly is Key West? You hear about it all the time, of course, but what many people don’t know is that Key West is actually an island city that sits at the bottom of the Florida Keyes. It sits a short ninety miles north of Cuba and features a rather unique aesthetic when held in comparison with the rest of the state.

There are plenty of activities that you can partake in should you choose to visit Key West, and if you really want to enhance your vacation, make sure you visit Fleming Key to the east, and of course take a look at the various attractions that Key West is known for; such as scuba diving if you feel like going deep. You will find, of course, that even the best vacation spot is made better if you have the freedom to move around. Key West is an island, as we mentioned before, which means you have quite a bit to explore around the coast, and out deeper.

First of all, you could go so far as to hire someone to move you about in their boat, but this is not only boring, it can become very expensive. Renting a boat for a set period of time, on the other hand, allows you more freedom and the ability to come and go as you please. The one thing that you will need to make sure of however, is that you are able to find a good rental, namely one from another boat owner.

Rent a Boat in Key West and Have an Experience Like No Other

As we mentioned before, Key West has many entertainment opportunities, many of which will prove to be once in a lifetime opportunity for you. Once your vacation is over, all you will have are the memories, so why not make them great?

Take a Kayak Night Trip

If you’ve ever considered boating at night, this would be the way to do it. It’s a unique opportunity to explore the waters around Key West in the dark of night, and the best part, is the kayaks are illuminated. Kayaks have a huge advantage over larger boats in that they are inexpensive to rent for a night, or even the entire day, and they’re very easy for a novice to handle.

Go Fishing

There are plenty of opportunities to take advantage of a fishing boat rental in Key West, and even more opportunities to indulge in the local marine life population. From Blue Marlin, to the snapper, and even the barracuda, you’re going to catch some impressive fish and have some great pictures to take home – if you ever decide to leave, that is! Remember, fishing charters come equipped for any occasion whether you want to go for some casual sport, or reel in the heavy weights. Then again, maybe you want to try your hand at deep sea fishing, which requires even tougher equipment.

Jet Ski Rentals

A boat rental in Key West for that matter, doesn’t need to be a forty footer or even a sailboat – sometimes you want to go a little smaller, and who doesn’t want to try a personal watercraft at some point in their lives? A jet ski rental can last just an hour, or it can go through the day. They’re fast, they’re fun, and they’re a thrill like no other. If you want to stray a bit further from the land, there are also boat rentals that come with jet skis, allowing you to travel out further and have a wider area to ‘play’ in.

Speed Boat Day Trips

The quintessential day trip on the water usually involves a speed boat with a 16 to 26 foot sundeck. These boats are great for off-shore excursions, allowing you to enjoy the water with a few of your friends, whether it’s two people, or up to twelve. Speed boats are among the most popular rental options in Key West, so they tend to go fast! Make sure you call a few weeks in advance to guarantee you’ll get the speed boat you want for all of your friends – you don’t want anyone riding on the bow.

Key West boat rentals from Boat.me can open up an entirely new world for you.

Boat Rentals in Miami – Inboard vs. Outboard Motors

Posted by

Are you planning to take a trip to Miami anytime soon? If so then there’s a good chance you’ve been looking at the water. There’s plenty of it, and there’s nothing quite like renting a boat from a responsible owner, giving yourself the ability to ride the waves to a multitude of destinations. Before you choose a boat, however, one of your biggest decisions, is going to be the type of motor you want to use. Those who don’t spend a good portion of their life on the water might not know that boat rentals in Miami can include both inboard and outboard motors, both of which have their own distinct benefits and drawbacks. Let’s take a look!

A Look at Outboard Motors

Boat Rentals in MiamiIf you’ve spent any time on a lake, then you’ve seen an outboard motor; they sit on the back of the boat, exposed to the elements, and keeping the vessel moving under a variety of conditions. Outboards have their popularity in the boating community for a few reasons including:

  • Easier to control – The outboard motor makes it easier to control the craft, especially at low speeds. For beginning boaters, this will make for a better docking experience at the end of the day, as other boats, or those with inboard motors, can only turn easily while they are traveling at high speeds.
  • Acceleration – Outboard motors tend to have the motor placed further back, which reduces the turbulence experienced by the boat itself. That being the case, boats with outboard motors tend to have greater acceleration as well as an improved fuel efficiency. In other words, its’ going to move fast and save you money.

If you’re renting a speedboat, then precision control is most likely what you’re looking for, and an outboard motor can most certainly provide that for you. These motors are perfect for fishing, especially if you’re trying to navigate a particularly dense area where that precision control we mentioned is essential to your success.

Going Inboard

Many speed boat rentals in Miami will make use of inboard motors which are mounted entirely different from their outboard cousins. Rather than being placed at the rear of the boat, you will find them at the center, utilizing a propeller shaft to push the boat through even the choppiest of waters. While boats with inboard motors might not be as easy to control, you will find that they have much more horsepower than the alternative, and they do tend to run quieter. In addition to that, inboard motors do not produce nearly as much wake as outboards, which makes them better for waterskiing.

While these boats are a bit more difficult to control, it should be noted that there are some benefits to raw beginners, namely the wake issue. Florida regulations state that a vessel’s wake must not interfere with other boaters on the water, and an inboard motor will make things a bit easier. In addition to that, there are ‘No Wake’ zones where a boater needs to be aware of their surroundings, and an inboard motor will come in handy here.

Boat Rentals in Miami

The Right Rentals at the Right Price

Whether you want to go with the inboard option or the outboard choice, there are plenty of rentals for you to take a look at. From fishing boat rental Miami, all the way to the more exciting speed boats, you have a plethora of choices, and it all depends on your preferences, as well as the activities that you will be performing while you are on the water. Extreme water sports will require a different vessel than fishing, and the level of experience required for each boat varies. Of course, you must remember that if you do not feel comfortable piloting a boat on your own, you can always charter one with a captain, allowing you to cruise with experience, and most importantly, hands free. There is a lot to see on the water in Miami, and Boat.me has your back when it comes to rental options.

Summer is an amazing time of year for sailboat rentals in Fort Lauderdale. It’s warm, it’s fun, and you just feel more alive. When the kids are out of school for the summer, you might be considering a vacation and we’re just going to say, that no vacation is going to be complete without a sailboat rental. You can walk the sandy beaches, explore the city, or even sample the local cuisine, but none of this is going to compare with the roar of the open waves and the wind on your face as you cruise the waters of the massive Atlantic Ocean.

Boat rentals are a great opportunity for you, as a tourist, to get the advantage of sailing on the open water without the need for experience. If you rent a smaller boat, or one with an experienced captain, you will not only learn a lot, you’ll have a lot of fun.

If you are a seasoned sailor, however, this is a great opportunity to get your hands on the boat you want in the Fort Lauderdale area, and experience a freedom like no other. Whether you want a simple speedboat, a sailboat, or a full scale yacht, there’s something out there for you.
